Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Project Carousel ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of projectcarousel.com (the "Site"), handles information when you visit. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
Information we collect
Most of the Site can be browsed without an account. You may optionally create one to unlock the full warehouse feed and the creator dashboard.
- Account details. If you create an account we store your email address and password (hashed — we never see or store it in readable form), plus anything you choose to add to your profile, such as a display name or storefront link. This is handled by Supabase on our behalf.
- Content you create. Saved products, private notes, outreach templates and your contact log are stored against your account and are visible only to you. Database access rules restrict every row to the account that created it.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, device, and pages requested — to deliver the Site securely and reliably. This is standard for virtually all websites.
- Cookies. If you sign in, we store a session token in your browser to keep you signed in. We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Because our product links carry no referral tag, clicking one sets no attribution cookie on our behalf; Amazon's own privacy notice governs what happens once you arrive there.
How we use information
Technical/log data is used only to operate, secure, and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
No affiliate relationship
Project Carousel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. We are not an Amazon Associate and we earn no commission when you buy anything. Product links on the Site are plain links to the Amazon product page, carrying no affiliate tag, referral parameter or click-tracking redirect.
Where our data comes from
Product titles, images, prices, condition notes and estimated sales figures come from a third-party Amazon data provider and are displayed with permission. They are observations recorded on the date shown on each page, not live Amazon data, and they are often out of date by the time you read them.
Third-party services
We rely on the following third parties, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Supabase — accounts, authentication and storage of your saved products, notes and templates.
- Our data provider — the source of the product data shown on the Site. They do not receive information about you.
- Amazon — the destination for product links. See the Amazon.com Privacy Notice.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account and everything stored against it at any time using the contact address below. Deletion removes your profile, saved products, notes, templates and contact log.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. To make a request or ask a question about privacy, contact us at the address below.
Children
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
